ACTIVITIES:

5:30 am - 7:30 am

-  Every morning, at Surau Al Taqwa, all first-, second-, and third-semester students congregate for prayer. After that, we went to the agreed-upon meeting spot. For instance, all semesters will congregate with PE in front of the farm workshop prior to entering the farm for roll call. Additionally, student attendance is tracked at the same time. Every semester after that, "KG" tells the pals to get warm up.

SURAU AL-TAQWA

7:30 am - 8:10 am

-    We made our way to the farm for roll call after warming up. Not only was my semester supposed to lead the roll call that day, but we also led the reading of Surah "Al Khafi"'s opening and last 10 verses. We then prayed "Qunut Nazilah," "Dhuha," and "Rabitah." Following that, we sang "Wawasan Setia," "Negaraku," and "Planters Song," with guidance from PKG and MT from semester 2.Subsequently, delegates from the second semester showcased the tasks completed the previous week. Roll call ends thereafter, and each semester continues with its own lectures for the following lesson.

DOA RABITAH

8:10 am - 8:30 am

-    Pn. Farhamizah then ordered our semester to move to the nursery plot. After arriving, Puan Farhamizah explained about the breeding technique which is the process of increasing the number of plants of a certain species or cultivar. We also use two steps to do propagation techniques which are cutting for Turnera plants and budding for rubber trees. The lecturer told us to take the rubber tree trunk first.

BRIEFING BY PN. FARHAMIZAH

08:30 am - 10:00 am

Following the removal of the rubber tree trunk, the lecturer described the budding technique, which involves removing the bark flap and taking the prepared rubber trees trunk and cutting a T-shaped incision. After that, the bud is placed within the pocket and the flap is drawn back to reveal the bark on both sides of the bud. Next, lay the chip inside the T-shaped cut, and secure the sides of the bud in place by tying them with splicing tape. Tighten it up to prevent water from getting into the joint.

Subsequently, Madam. Farhamizah instructed other individuals to trim the Turnera plants. They used pruning shears to take down the Turnera plants. Subsequently, the cut stems were immersed in rooting powder and then placed inside polybags.

-    Actually we need to do pesticide but since the weather looks like it's going to rain so we postpone pesticide until next week. So we dismiss because don't have work to do.
